23 Donors makes Blood Drive a Huge Success!

On Friday April 11th, 2008, WAYNE CARES (created by: The Super 9 sales team in Fort Myers) hosted a blood Drive/BBQ for our internal and external customers. It was a GREAT SUCCESS! We had a large turnout and we are able to help save some lives in a different way... by donating something very precious to all of us, our blood. We had 23 donors and after speaking to Gloria at Lee Memorial Blood Centers this morning, they are done with the screening of the blood, and were able to use 18 pints of the blood that we gave, YEAH!!!! Gloria said the average blood donation that they usually get when a company sets something up like we did, is usually only around 6 pints of blood, so she said she was highly impressed with the turnout and asked if we wanted to schedule them to come out every 56 days. We are going to set it up to where they come out roughly every 3 months so we can help save some lives in the communities around us. Every drop donated stays right here in Lee County to help our nearest and dearest.
